Amazon.com Review Part of Bush Furniture's sophisticated Midnight Mist entertainment collection, this audio tower provides a striking modern display for stereo components, peripherals, and accessories. Five black, tempered-glass shelves are housed inside a unique double frame with wide, textured-black painted posts on the outside and narrow chrome-finish poles that rise up from within. (Notice how the staggered design gives the top level a floating effect.) The shelves rest on vibration-dampening pads for improved sound quality, and a perforated back spine provides both extra stability and wire concealment. The tower measures 25-5/8 inches wide by 22-3/8 inches deep by 41-3/4 inches high and has been tested for tip-free safety. Assembly is required, and instructions and a toll-free customer help line are included. Six-year warranty. --Kara Karll

Great way to upgrade TV room furniture May 21, 2008 RhymePhile (Displaced New Jerseyan) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased the companion to this piece, the matching TV stand, for my 40" Samsung LCD HDTV. While the stand is nice, I needed another stand for my audio components. Built of sturdy metal and tempered glass, it stands over 35" tall and gives me perfect access to my components from across my bedroom. I use this stand to hold my Sony STR-DG910 7.1 receiver, a Samsung upconverting DVD player, a VCR, my Playstation 2, the cable box, and I still have room on the very top glass shelf for photos and the like. The shelves are tall so you can stack components on top of each other if you wish, and the airy design allows for plenty of ventilation. Like the previous reviewer said, this product is packed very well and can be heavy because of the tempered glass pieces. The best way to overcome that is to unbox everything and carry it into your house or apartment. There aren't many pieces, and I managed it fine by myself (and I'm a woman).
Very Nice Stand!! January 13, 2009 R. Tillman (Huntsville, AL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As soon as I lifted the box that this stand arrived in, I was impressed. This stand is HEAVY! Assembly was a piece of cake with all of the tools required provided. I had it together and ready for components in 20 mins. The picture on the website doesn't do it justice. This is a quality piece of entertainment furniture. Everything that is not glass is a black, European-style, heavy metal with a durable and attractive finish. It looks great and built well enough that I will keep this tower stand for many, many years. You can't go wrong with this entertainment stand.
Sturdy and Beautiful May 21, 2010 Kurt Miller (Pittsburgh, PA United States) I had no issues installing the piece by myself, although it is a bit heavy once you get everything together and all of your components loaded on. I didn't have any issues with screw holes aligning as mentioned by other reviewers; everything aligned perfectly for me. The little rubber suction cups were tough to get into the holes, but I found that it was a lot easier if you turned them as you applied pressure, almost screwing them into place. The piece is sturdy and attractive. I have my PS3, Xbox, Onkyo receiver, Panamax Power Conditioner, and DirecTV box on it and it looks great. My only warning is that it doesn't hide all the wires if you have lots of them. I have a 7.1 setup, and you can see some spools of speaker wire peeking out from both sides. If you're meticulous and don't want to see ANY Wires, maybe this isn't the one for you.
Good Looking July 3, 2010 Roger Faria (San Diego, CA) I bought this stand about a year ago. It does it's job well. I use all 5 shelves Equipment housed on it are: TURN TABLE CD PLAYER PRE AMP POWER AMP HOME THEATER RECEIVER It has a really sturdy feel and is pretty heavy duty, the back black panel can hide cables back there pretty good, but you would have to be a little creative and use zip ties or duct tape or some thing. OH and its pretty wide to house and type of audio equipment and the glass is pretty thick too. I highly recommend it
Good looks and strong construction March 4, 2008 David Long (NJ) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you have several components in your home theater or audio system, this tower is great with its 5 shelves. The shelves are not adjustable but I found the space provided for each shelf sufficient as it was, allowing enough room for the components that give off heat. The holes in the back help organize all the wires somewhat so they're not a complete mess. The metal frame is fairly sturdy and the shelves thick tempered glass; despite that, it's easy to move around when needed. The only slight negative about the design is that the clamps which help hold the shelves in place are only on one side of the unit, which surprised me. It seems that the suction cups on the rods that stick to the shelves do a fine job of holding them in place though. I've had no problems with the unit at all. Be sure when you get it that you have help though - the package is very heavy and requires two people to move.
